Intent & Objectives

2024 is decennial year of the 3-Fold model in Pudukkottai cluster. Our interactions with the BAU, FPOs, service lines, shareholders and other actors involved in the establishment of a sustainable ecosystem to support growth of small producers revealed the need for differential futures pathways. Our culminating workshop aims to bring all the different actors together for the duration of two days to co-facilitate activities to collectively imagine the multiple future pathways to help strategise the growth for the decade in Pudukkottai cluster.

The central objectives are:

1. Engage with the synthesized qualitative data - lived experiences, historical narratives, object stories - collected during the field visits, to understand system scenarios from the perspective of different stakeholders.
2. Collectively speculate and imagine alternative and future scenarios along three core areas:
   1. Digitalisation
   2. Critical Infrastructure
   3. Enterpreneural Clusters
3. Collaboratively synthesize the future scenarios in the form of a draft strategy document to enable future road-mapping and implementation.

Structure

The workshop will be over two days - 26th and 27th February, 2024

Each day will be divided into broadly four sessions, each with sub-sessions that are co-designing and facilitated with key stakeholders as per the table below.

Outcomes

1. Draft Strategy document containing future scenarios from each stakeholder groups to be prioritised and put into roadmaps.
2. Clarity of system experiences and expectations from across the stakeholders.
3. Documentation with details on the activities carried out.

Next steps

Design Beku (DB) will anchor the co-production of the documentation of the workshop, which is structured in the following manner:
